Teaching Issues and Experiments in Ecology (TIEE; tiee.esa.org) is a peer reviewed publication of the ESA designed to help faculty actively engage students in ecology as it is practiced. This workshop is designed to help potential TIEE authors submit an Experiment or Issue to the journal. To date over 80 authors have contributed to TIEE. These include graduate students for whom the publication is a chapter in their thesis and faculty who use their contribution in reappointment and promotion files. The workshop will start with an introduction to TIEE Issues, including Figure Sets and Data Sets, and to Experiments. Participants will then begin working on their own Issue or Experiment and should come with ideas for possible submissions. The presenters have extensive experience with TIEE both as authors and editors

Registration Fee: $25
