This workshop is valuable for instructors at all levels of education who either teach sustainability-focused courses or who could benefit from integration of sustainability lesson(s) into their syllabi. It is also useful for those interested in sustainability education in general or in networking with sustainability educators and practitioners (all are welcome and a diversity of backgrounds is encouraged). Participants in this workshop will learn and share innovative teaching strategies and explore useful ideas about human-ecosystem interactions throughout time and space to integrate into sustainability lessons. Then they will collaboratively create lesson plans that they can use with their students. This workshop is being hosted by the Open Science Network in Ethnobiology (www.opensciencenetwork.net).
