The ocean climate is changing right now and the shape of that change is becoming clear.  We are seeing a warmer ocean  and a more acidic ocean.  Sea level is rising while polar ice is decreasing. The distribution of oxygen and salinity are changing as well.  Fish and shellfish stocks are moving and some are more, others less, productive.  Coastal communities feel the effects too, from the Arctic to tropical islands and the shores of the continental US.  Fundamentally, the ocean we have known for generations is changing.  Society has been slow to respond.  Time to pick up speed.
