Are you planning a project to improve undergraduate education? The National Science Foundation's Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE) provides opportunities for funding such projects, but obtaining funding from DUE presents special challenges. What are the relevant DUE programs? How do you go about writing successful proposals to these programs? Who do you contact for help? What elements are important? Are these proposals significantly different from research proposals? Who reviews these proposals? What are the review criteria? This interactive workshop is designed to help you obtain funding to support efforts to improve undergraduate ecological education at your institutions. We will focus on: (1) relevant opportunities for funding within DUE, and more broadly, within the Education and Human Resources Directorate (EHR); (2) how to prepare successful proposals for DUE programs; and (3) the merit review process.

Registration Fee: $0
