Do you use digital photographs, figures, or tables in your classes to demonstrate ecological concepts? Come learn how to publish the resources that you use in your classes online though EcoEd DL, ESA’s digital library! We'll introduce the EcoEd DL library and describe our goals for building its content. We’ll highlight examples of the types of resources we are accepting for publication, and we'll walk through the submission and review process using a previously published resource as an example. Along the way, we’ll also cover the review guidelines, copyright issues, and terms of use. EcoEd DL provides ecology educators with immediate, organized access to high-quality teaching resources, such as photographs, tables and figures, articles, syllabi, and laboratory exercises. EcoEd DL resources are peer reviewed for scientific accuracy and instructional value. EcoEd DL is part of the biology pathway (BEN; www.biosciednet.org) of the National Science Digital Library (NSDL; www.nsdl.org), both of which are funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
