Background/Question/Methods

analyzing the global carbon cycle

Results/Conclusions

Terrestrial ecosystems have contributed to climate change as human manipulation and conversion has produced carbon emissions. Sequestering some of this atmospheric carbon by ecosystem restoration at the planetary scale can remove significant amounts of carbon from the atmosphere. It will also make terrestrial ecosystems more resilient to the climate change that will occur.
