The Wildflower Center 280 acre site includes gardens, trails and research sites. The 1-2 hour guided tour will visit the individual research areas including effects of season of fire, native green roofs, and climate (rainfall) effects on native prairie species.
Following the formal tour, participants will be free to explore the Center gardens which are designed to inspire, to educate and to demonstrate the beauty of native plants. The gardens serve as models for homeowners as they restore their own property to a more natural state.

Registration Fee: $43
Equipment and Attire: The visit will cover about 2 miles on foot. And temperatures will likely be in the 90s. Close-toed shoes, sun protective clothing (inc. hat) and water are essential.
