The last year has been a big one for climate assessments, with the release of the quadrennial US National Climate Assessment and the contributions of WGI, WGII, and WGIII to the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report. At this session, authors will provide an overview of key findings as well as outreach efforts to date.  The discussion will address ways for ecologists to utilize the report, to help with outreach, and to contribute to future assessments.
