The 2015 Resources for Ecology Education: Fair and Share is the 7th annual education workshop and intended for faculty of undergraduate students to engage students with active learning methods. This year, we will organize REEFS as a two-part workshop for the first time. In the first half of the workshop, participants who have submitted ideas to share will present to a small group. Each group will discuss what most educators will need to know to try an activity in their own courses. Feedback on how each activity could be improved, tailored, and/or adapted for use in different learning environments will also be encouraged. Participants will be able to take part in four to five presentations.  New this year is the second half of the workshop, where participants will 1) develop their own teaching ideas through a facilitated process and 2) learn about digital publishing options in ESA’s EcoEd Digital Library to encourage broad dissemination.  Those who wish to share their activities should contact Carolyn Thomas, Education Section Chair: cthomas@ferrum.edu.

Registration Fee: $30
