The Florida Atlantic University Center for Environmental Studies (CES) will give this tour highlighting impacts and responses to South Florida’s rising seas. The tour stops give a snapshot of what the areas could  look like with projected sea-level rise scenarios. During the tour, guest speakers will range from property owners and developers to representatives from historic foundations, the South Florida Water Management District and the Florida Department of Transportation.

CES will utilize cutting-edge research to show measurement, mapping & technology trends to provide an interactive understanding of local scientific knowledge. The tour will target infrastructure, policy, planning, neighborhoods, natural areas, repetitive loss areas and more.

Registration Fee: $72

Equipment and Attire: There will be no need for anything other than casual street attire, and there will be no strenuous parts of the trip
