Now more than any other time we must train our young people to see things in a multidisciplinary way. Visual form, as a vehicle for the public to understand the fragile environment we are now living in, is crucial for us make change in the future. As a professor of art and an artist who collaborates with biologist and geneticists, I teach my students to observe, and work in collaboration with the biological systems that make up the world. I will show projects by my students and I that have had an impact in educating our community about climate change.
