The explosion of technology in the last century has created an amazing urban fabric of data and digital convenience. While this has created creature comforts and facilitated high living standards, it has failed to recognize the human body as complicit in these systems. We can create zero energy buildings, yet we fail to keep people comfortable indoors. Thermostats and meteorologists reports of air temperature are only representative 1 of 6 important phenomena that affect comfort, yet drive 1/3 of energy demand. We demonstrate how full characterization of physiology will shift the paradigm of energy delivery to people.
