It is increasingly important for scientists to explain their work to the public, and one excellent way to do that is through science blogging. This also allows scientists to virtually meet colleagues from around the world, and provides several unique ways to engage undergraduates in scientific learning. Representatives from several of the internet's leading science blogs will be present to show you how to write a blog and explain all the advantages of doing so. Be sure to bring a laptop and a name for your blog! By the end of this workshop, participants will have an up-and-running science blog and connections within the science blogging community!
