This workshop will provide an opportunity for student representatives of SEEDS Chapters to share their accomplishments and for ESA members to learn more about the SEEDS program. SEEDS staff will provide an overview of the SEEDS program components, with the highlight being presentations by Campus Ecology Chapters. Numbering near sixty, SEEDS Campus Ecology Chapters serve as local affiliates of the program, furthering the mission of SEEDS through ecology education, outreach, recruitment, and career development on campuses throughout the US and its territories. Chapters represented at the Annual Meeting will share their accomplishments from the past academic year and work together to establish regional Chapter collaborations and share success strategies. All are welcome to attend; this session will be especially useful for those who are interested in learning more about SEEDS and starting a Chapter.
